Send approved wholesale orders to your ShipHero warehouse

If your warehouse runs on ShipHero, every wholesale order has to reach it with the right SKUs, address, contact and shipping method. Usually that means keying it in by hand after it has already been read from an email or a marketplace. DELLI AI reads purchase orders from email, WhatsApp, Faire, Ankorstore, EDI and portals, and when you approve one it becomes an order in ShipHero, ready for the warehouse.

How it works

Create a developer user in ShipHero. Under Users & Roles, create a Third-Party Developer user with an email address used for nothing else in ShipHero, and turn on its Public API Access.
Connect ShipHero. Connect Gmail or Outlook first, then ask DELLI AI to connect ShipHero. Enter the developer user's email and password. The password is used once to sign in and is not kept.
Link your products. Bring in your ShipHero SKUs, or match them to the products already in DELLI AI by code. Every line on an order needs a link before the order can go to the warehouse.
Add your stores and shipping methods. Copy the stores and method names your 3PL has mapped on ShipHero's Shipping Methods page into your purchase order defaults. You then pick a store and method on each order, or let a routine pick them.
Approve and follow it through. Accept with "send to ShipHero" switched on and the order goes to ShipHero. Status, shipping labels and stock come back to DELLI AI.

What moves between ShipHero and DELLI AI

Orders. DELLI AI to ShipHero, when you accept. Each line goes as its linked SKU, with the delivery address, the customer's warehouse contact, your chosen store and shipping method, and any shipping charge as ShipHero's shipping line.
Ship-by dates. DELLI AI to ShipHero. The order's delivery date goes as the date ShipHero must ship by. Without one, the shipping method's cut-off sets it.
Order status. ShipHero to DELLI AI, shown on the order.
Tracking. ShipHero to DELLI AI. Each shipping label shows on the order page, including on a partly shipped order.
Stock. ShipHero to DELLI AI, per warehouse, from the warehouses your account sells from.
Products. ShipHero to DELLI AI, when you bring them in. Each comes in sold singly, with no price or VAT rate. A SKU with exactly one case size gives the product that case size. Nothing comes in on connect.

No rekeying

An approved purchase order goes to ShipHero with its SKUs, address, contact and ship-by date already filled in.

The right carrier

Each order goes under the store and shipping method your 3PL has mapped, so ShipHero applies the carrier service they set up.

Partial shipments visible

The order page shows each label as it ships and marks an order partly shipped, while ShipHero's own status waits for the whole order.

More than one warehouse

Send an order to a particular ShipHero warehouse, or run ShipHero alongside Mintsoft or Pimento. A routine can sort orders by country.

Good to know

ShipHero has no customers and no invoices. The buyer travels with each order, and invoices come from your accounting connection.
ShipHero limits an order number to 32 characters. DELLI AI stops a longer one at accept, and ShipHero refuses a number it already has.
ShipHero counts SKUs, never packs, so warehouses usually give a case its own SKU. Link a product you sell by the case to the case SKU, and a single to the single SKU.
An order with no store chosen, or a method name not mapped under that store, arrives in ShipHero with no carrier.
A Faire order carries no buyer email. Set a fallback contact email in your purchase order defaults if your warehouse needs one.

Questions

Will DELLI AI send anything without asking me?

No. Nothing goes to ShipHero until you approve the order.

Why do I need a developer user instead of my own login?

ShipHero gives API access through Third-Party Developer users. ShipHero allows each email address on one user only, across all accounts, so give it an address used nowhere else in ShipHero.

Which warehouse does the order ship from?

With ShipHero as your only warehouse system, ShipHero places the order itself, unless you choose a warehouse. With Mintsoft or Pimento connected too, you choose where each order ships from before you accept it.

ShipHero refused API access for my developer user. What now?

Turn Public API Access back on for that user in ShipHero. Reconnecting doesn't fix it.
